Penthouse Interior Design — Individual Approach
Penthouse interior design requires an individual approach and carefully considered decisions down to the smallest detail. Such properties have unique layouts that must be taken into account when renovating apartments in new residential buildings. Their main feature is panoramic windows in almost every room. Covering them with heavy textiles, bulky furniture, or excessive decor is a major mistake. On the contrary, it is important to highlight this advantage by maximizing natural light and using high-quality, well-planned lighting solutions.
The Belik Interior Design Studio fully leverages the architectural potential of each property and brings even the boldest design ideas to life. Our portfolio clearly demonstrates what modern penthouse apartment interior design looks like in real life. This project reflects the client’s individual needs, the apartment’s layout, and the planned renovation budget. It shows how lighting and penthouse planning features can be used effectively, how to emphasize panoramic windows, and how to create a comfortable terrace relaxation area. At the same time, the design expresses the client’s personality and creates a truly comfortable and desirable living atmosphere.

A comprehensive and well-structured interior design project typically costs no more than 8% of the total renovation budget. At the same time, it helps save up to 20% by preventing unnecessary purchases, mistakes, rework, and inefficient solutions. Both the client and the construction team clearly understand timelines, costs, and work scope from the very beginning. There is no need for constant meetings with contractors, as all decisions are already defined in the design project created by Belik Studio.
Thanks to this approach, a unique, aesthetically refined, and modern penthouse interior was created. The primary goal was to preserve maximum natural light. Panoramic windows became the main highlight of the space. Thanks to abundant daylight, the designer was able to use darker color palettes and textures, fully aligning with the client’s preferences.

Key Design Features of the Penthouse
This penthouse includes many distinctive design elements, such as:
- dark wood wall paneling;
- a kitchen backsplash, countertop, and island made from the same marble-textured material;
- black textiles and high-quality fabrics used in cushions, rugs, curtains, and throws;
- multi-level lighting solutions, including track systems, LED strips in shelves and zones, chandeliers, wall and floor lamps;
- practical decorative accessories in black tones;
- concealed installation doors painted black.
Careful color, shade, and texture combinations create a cohesive and balanced interior composition. Furniture, decor, appliances, and lighting fixtures are designed in a single style, complementing each other visually while performing their functions perfectly.
Smart Space Planning and Functional Zones
Beyond playing with colors and textures, special attention was given to efficient space utilization. To avoid major structural changes, rooms were kept as open as possible. The studio apartment combines several functional zones. From the entrance hall, you enter directly into the kitchen-living area. A built-in wardrobe was installed in the hallway to visually separate it from the living space while providing additional storage.
The kitchen was designed to be compact yet highly functional, with integrated appliances and custom furniture. A kitchen island placed opposite the cabinetry offers extra workspace and storage and smoothly transitions into a dining table. This solution is ideal for small spaces: practical, cost-effective, visually original, and easy to implement.
The living area, located just beyond the dining zone, is compact but fully equipped. It features a comfortable corner sofa, a TV with storage units, and a coffee table. Decorative pillows, throws, rugs, and accent lighting add warmth and coziness. The entire apartment follows a unified design concept with consistent colors, textures, lighting solutions, and decor elements throughout all rooms.
The children’s room is more personalized, reflecting the child’s age and interests. It includes bright accent elements, a dedicated sports area, and custom photo wallpaper with favorite themes.

Bedroom and Storage Solutions
Despite limited space, the bedroom accommodates a large bed with bedside tables. Instead of a traditional wardrobe, a walk-in closet was designed. The interior designer collaborated closely with furniture makers to plan every detail and use the space efficiently. A small storage room connected to the bedroom became a functional area for clothing, accessories, shoes, and household items, keeping the bedroom visually uncluttered and elegant.
