• Location — st. B. Khmelnitsky, Kyiv, Ukraine
• Three-storey house area — 121,1 m²
• Scope of work — interior design projectPlanning an attic renovation or full house redesign in Kyiv?
This attic house interior design project in Kyiv demonstrates how a complex mansard space can be transformed into a functional and stylish living environment. With a total area of 121.1 m², the house was designed for a family of three, with clearly separated private and public zones.
The concept combines modern minimalism with subtle loft and industrial elements. Sloped ceilings, wooden beams, and concealed lighting were intentionally emphasized to enhance architectural geometry rather than hide it. The attic space includes a relaxation zone, sports area, and a dressing room, making full use of every wall regardless of height.
The open-plan kitchen and living room create a comfortable shared environment tailored to the owners’ lifestyle. Spanish porcelain stoneware, Italian metal-effect tiles, Belgian laminate, and carefully selected lighting solutions shape the interior’s clean white and gray palette, accented with soft menthol details.
Hidden LED lighting plays both functional and decorative roles throughout the house — in wall panels, niches, stair railings, and bathrooms. The result is a modern attic renovation that balances aesthetics, ergonomics, and practical comfort.
