There are several versions of the reasons for the appearance of the "Sistine Madonna". Some historians argue that with this order, Pope Julius II wanted to celebrate the victory over the French, as a result of which the city of Piacenza was annexed to the Papal States. The fact that Raphael wrote the "Sistine Madonna" on canvas, and not on the board, made it possible to put forward the version that they planned to use it as a banner, a flag on a pole, which is used during religious processions. Still others are inclined to the version that Julius II made an order for his future tomb.

A single hypothesis concerns only the personalities of the people who posed for the heroes of the canvas. For the Virgin Mary, the beloved of Rafael Fornarina was chosen as a model, the existence of which remains an unproven theory. Researchers, taking into account the fact that her name translates as "baker", suggest that she was the daughter of a Roman baker, and her real name is Margherita Luti. Pope Julius II himself played the role of St. Sixtus, and the legendary Giulia Orsini played the role of St. Barbara.

What was legendary about her? First, she was the niece of Pope Julius II. Secondly, the beloved of another pope - Alexander VI, who came from the Spanish Borgia family, which is tightly included in the history of Italy. This family is known for their skillful use of poisons and the quick elimination of their political and personal opponents. However, these three heroes are not the most popular images of the Sistine Madonna.

Next year marks 10 years since the Dresden Art Gallery hosted an exhibition dedicated to the 500th anniversary of Raphael's creation of the Sistine Madonna. The organizers approached her rather unconventionally. We all remember two plump-cheeked angels, located at the bottom of the canvas. They are called "putti" - little boys depicted in the paintings of Renaissance, Baroque and Rococo masters. They first appeared in the art of ancient Greece and ancient Rome. There they were given the names "erotes", "cupids" or "cupids". They have evolved into some of the most used images in art history. Later, Christians borrowed their images to depict souls.

There is a legend that Rafael once noticed two boys frozen with dreamy, expectant expressions on their faces in front of a bakery. I noticed and used their images to create angels in my painting. Like it or not, it’s hard to say now, one thing is clear - their popularity exceeds the fame of the rest of the heroes of the canvas.

The jubilee exhibition in Dresden included an exhibition of items advertised with images of Raphael's two angels. There was sausage made in Chicago, wine, an umbrella, socks, candy, mugs, and even toilet paper. One can relate differently to such kitsch ways to get ahead. However, one cannot fail to recognize the skill of the artist, who made the heroes of his canvas so popular.

We did not stand aside and used the print of the picture in our new interior. What art objects are in your interior? Call us, let's meet. We will tell you about the prices for apartment renovation in Kyiv or in any other city of Ukraine, we will show you photos of apartment interior design.

A married couple aged 63 and 51 will live in an apartment of 57.8 square meters. The family of the daughter and granddaughter will come to visit them, sometimes each with his wife stays for a long time. Our task was complicated by the fact that in the future the owners of the apartment plan to rent it out - our designers had to create an interior with character, but with a soft and flexible character, one that will appeal to different people.

For the floor of the kitchen-studio, we offered a vinyl covering from the Belgian factory Quick-Step. The whole interior is decided in warm shades, so the color of the vinyl reflects the general trend of the interior and reflects the complex variant between natural oak and the color of natural cotton. The kitchen-studio and the design of the flooring create a comfortable atmosphere for relaxation.

For the facades, we have also chosen a material that repeats the structure of oak, the color of which is called “Orleans”.

Above the lounge area and the bar counter, we placed lamps resembling air bubbles that harmoniously fit into the design of the living room.

They are part of the Anzazo Iona collection. We settled on this particular option, since the plafonds placed randomly give a beautiful multi-level light that changes depending on the time of day.

The small size of the apartment did not allow us to allocate a separate space for the dining table. Therefore, the bar counter performs its function. In order for family evenings to be held in a comfortable atmosphere, we picked up soft chairs with high legs.

The role of the kitchen backsplash is played by porcelain tiles from the Spanish company Pamesa from the Ceramica Pamesa Niro collection, which reproduces the structure of Carrara marble.

The natural pattern of Spanish porcelain stoneware looks especially impressive when the lighting is on, which is created by hidden LED cords.

We are often asked to recommend convenient placement of kitchen equipment. Each hostess has individual preferences. However, most opt for top-mounted ovens. So it is possible to save your back and make the oven inaccessible to small children.

The work of designers on the interior of small apartments resembles the work of a jeweler. Everything must be calculated to the millimeter. We also design interiors and furniture so that, if possible, they perform several functions.

The showcase, in which the owners of the apartment placed the dishes, became both an art object and a lamp, thanks to the lighting that we installed inside.

To the right of the door, we placed a huge mirror, along the perimeter of which we launched a hidden LED lighting, which gives diffused light that is pleasant to the eyes.

Opposite the mirror in the niche is a bench and hangers for outerwear. Next to them is a closed wardrobe for clothes, shoes and luggage.

The cabinet on the left will be used not only for storing clothes and shoes, but also for household appliances. Its dimensions of 1720 by 640 millimeters make it possible to hide both a vacuum cleaner and an ironing board there.

To illuminate the entrance group, we selected spotlights from the German factory Maytoni.

For the bathroom floor of the owners of the apartment, we selected Spanish porcelain tiles from the Atrium factory from the Yosemite collection.

Above the wall-mounted toilet in the resulting niche, we created closed racks for storing detergents and a spectacular cupboard with a glass door.

For the walls of the bathroom, porcelain stoneware from the Spanish factory Colorker Nomade was chosen in different textures - like natural marble and with a complex structured texture.

Most of our customers are ditching factory-made shower enclosures in favor of custom-designed ones by our designers. For this interior, we designed a spacious shower area with a sliding door.

The length of the shower zone is one and a half meters with a depth of 700 millimeters. Obviously, such a large space requires separate lighting. We created it by hiding LED strips in a niche between the ceiling and the wall.

The shower room also has a shelf for shampoos and a heated towel rail.

The owners of the apartment insisted on a complex lighting scenario for the bedroom. We have developed multi-level lighting, including bottom lighting. It includes hidden LED lighting installed under the bed.

On the bedside table, our designers placed a Nowodvorski table lamp with a rich honey shade.

On the other side of the bed is a Nowodvorski pendant lamp from the same collection as the table lamp.

The central lighting comes from Anzazo's Twine, whose white body makes it almost invisible against the ceiling.

To the right of the bed, our designers planned a built-in wardrobe measuring 1550 by 600 millimeters.

And here are the heroes of our story - images from Rafael Santi's painting "The Sistine Madonna", which adorned the interior of the bedroom of the owners of the apartment.

For the floor of the guest bathroom, we offered Spanish porcelain tiles from the Pamesa Ceramica factory from the Wells collection.

We gave the entire top of the space above the wall-mounted toilet for a storage system with open and closed shelves.

The frame of the mirror hanging above the washbasin is not only a frame, but also lighting, thanks to the built-in lighting.

An obvious plus of this apartment is the owner's bathroom isolated from the guests, which can only be accessed from their bedroom.
